Explanation:
I searched the excerpt which name is conversational ballgames and after I read it I got to the conclusion that it is organized the following way:
1. First, the author COMPARES the western-style conversation with the tennis game and she says that they are similar because in the western style when the person who is talking introduce a topic then she/he is expecting the other person to agree or disagree and keep talking about the reasons why, she says that she only doesn’t wait for you to agree or disagree, she expected more than that. Just like in the tennis game, if you throw the ball you expect from the other person to hit it back.
2. And then, when the author talks about Japanese-style conversation, she says that it isn’t like tennis or volleyball at all; there, she CONTRASTS the Japanese-style conversation with the two other games saying how different the games are from the Japanese-style.
Answer:Chad is 9 and he has 2 brothers and 2 sisters, but Chad did something he wasn't suppose to do and his dad found out and called all of them to the living room, so when there dad asked "Did you do it" they all said "No" because they didn't do it but chad was the one who ate all the cookies but he didn't want to get in trouble so when his dad asked "Did you do it" Chad said "No" and lied to his father so he wouldn't get in trouble, but his dad knew that somebody was lying so he grounded all of them until someone confess and tells him who did it. There not allowed to leave their room unless they need to go to the bathroom or its time to eat but Chad felt horrible his brothers and sisters had plans to hangout with their friend so Chad did the right thing and went to his Dad and told him "I was the one who ate all the cookies, i'm sorry." His Dad un-grounded everyone else except for Chad his dad said "I would've let you have fun if you just told me when I asked you rather than lying to me, so for that your still grounded." Chad understood and went to his room and he learned a valuable lesson that's its much easier to tell the truth rather than lie about it so chad never lied again.
