5 0

Answer:

14

Step-by-step explanation:

Since they are similar triangles, we can use proportions

5              10

------ = -------------

5+7       10+?

5              10

------ = -------------

12          10+?

Using cross products

5( 10+?) = 12*10

Divide each side by 5

10+? = 12*10/5

10+? = 24

Subtract 10 from each side

10+?-10 = 24-10

? = 14

Share $210 in the ratio of 2:5
horrorfan [7]

Answer:

60:150

Step-by-step explanation:

So first you can divide 210 by 7 since it will be spilt into seven parts.

210/7 = 30

So in order to get them into the ratios:

30 x 2 = 60

30 x 5 = 150

So 210 in the ratio of 2:5 would be 60:150

You can check your work by adding 60 + 150 together.

30+ Points! To whoever answer it with good explanation
irinina [24]
So first thing you do is :
c^1/2*d^1/2*d^1/3
then you find sum of the exponents for d
c^1/2*d^(1/2+1/3)
c^1/2*d^5/6
then first number goes under the root, second number outside
so you have root from c ( you do not write number 1 as an exponent and 2 in front of the root because it's already considered to be a square root. As for the d:
6 sqrt(d^5)
