The quote that clearly shows that Sagoyewatha is determined not to sell the land is "They bought them, piece after piece, for a little money paid to a few men in our nation, and not to all our brethren . . ."

How does this quote present Sagoyewatha's thinking?

 • It shows that the sale of land is not profitable.
 • It shows that the money received is not enough to make everyone happy.
 • It shows that the money would not be shared equally.

Sagoyewatha shows that the sale of land is disadvantageous, as it will cause the people to lose a very precious asset and receive little money, which will not be able to compensate them for the lack of land.

He also claims that the profits from this sale are not evenly distributed, leaving some community members in a very bad situation as they will be left without money and land.

John and Mary have an argument over whose turn it is to do the dishes. In the heat of the argument, John calls Mary a slob and s
Komok [63]

Answer:

D). Communication is irreversible.

Explanation: The following incident is an example of "Interpersonal Communication" and the phase both Amber and John are experiencing is the irreversible nature of communication. However, they both have apologized for their behavior. But, Mary is unable to forget the incorrect use of words by John for her. Here, they both are reflecting the cons of interpersonal communication which can also be thought of like a pro as this kind of conversation focuses on the follies and mistakes of each other and also enforcing the individuals to develop their character traits by altering their behavior. As deep down, Mary admits herself being a slob and thus, shows anger as she is not ready to accept her folly.

sweet [91]

Answer:

"Childhood doesn't last forever"

Explanation:

The theme of the story Marigolds is "Childhood doesn't last forever". I decided this was the theme because when she pulls out the marigolds it represents how she is not a child anymore. When she sees her father crying, she realizes that adults fail and feels extreme disappointment. In tormenting Miss Lottie and ripping up what she tried to create, Lizabeth expresses some of her own internalized rage. However, as she looks at Miss Lottie, she suddenly feels ashamed, realizing she has victimized not an "other" or a "witch" but a real human being like herself. Instead of wanting to continue to express wrath at her, she feels compassion for this older woman.

edit:

here is the text evidence:

"The child in me sulked and said it was all in

fun, but the woman in me flinched at the thought of the

malicious attack that I had led. " "I had indeed lost my mind, for all the

smoldering emotions of that summer swelled in me

and burst—the great need for my mother who was

never there, the hopelessness of our poverty and

degradation, the bewilderment of being neither child

nor woman and yet both at once, the fear unleashed

by my father’s tears. And these feelings combined in

one great impulse toward destruction." " The years have put words to the things I knew in that moment, and as I look back upon it, I

know that that moment marked the end of innocence."

hope this helps :)
