Use something that is happening around you that is real life. Take one that is a news story. Turn that news story into a 2-page

play or scene. Format it as you have seen done in previous plays. It should include a title, a list of characters that includes their ages and genders, a setting, stage directions (parenthesized actions happening onstage), and dialogue (spoken words between two or more characters). Font should be Times New Roman and 12 point. Margins 1" all around.

SHADOWYou spin me right 'round, baby

Right 'round like a record, baby

Right 'round, 'round, 'round

You spin me right 'round, baby

Right 'round like a record, baby

Right 'round, 'round, 'round

If I, I get to know your name

Well I could trace

Your private number, baby

All I know is that to me

You look like you're lots of fun

Open up your lovin' arms

I want some, want some

I've set my sights on you

(Like no one else will do)

And I, I've got to have

My way now, baby

All I know is that to me

You look like you're havin' fun

Open up your lovin' arms

Watch out, here I come

Right 'round like a record, baby

Right 'round, 'round, 'round

ollegr [7]

Answer:

In 1936 Florence Thompson allowed Dorothea Lange to photograph her family because she thought it might help the plight of the working poor. "She always wanted a better life," her daughter later said. Lange took six pictures. Dorothea Lange took this photograph in 1936, while employed by the U.S. government's Farm Security Administration formed during the Great Depression to raise awareness of and provide aid to impoverished farmers. the image of a worried but resilient mother was so powerful that it prompted the government to send 20,000 pounds of food to relieve starvation in a migrant worker camp, and may have helped inspire John Steinbeck's literary classic The Grapes of Wrath.
