The company of Johnson & Johnson began in 1886. Its foundation was sterile surgical dressings made for doctors. This idea wa

s started by its founder, Robert Wood.
Johnson and his brothers, James and Edward. They based the concept upon Joseph Lister's idea of sanitation. Lister was a surgeon and pioneered antiseptic surgery. Before the popularity of Lister's idea, unsanitary surgeries were common practice. Following the dressings' development, the Johnson brothers continued to make different sanitary products, including cotton and gauze. These had antiseptic and medicine added to them. They even acquired other companies that helped them spread to other areas of medicine.

I only found that it is supposed to have commas in between describing the stench, I also found that "girl's" is incorrect instead of "girls'" it should be "girl's" (2).
