Answer:

B. Adds to the idea that the speaker feels like an outsider.

Explanation:

All the boys are showed to be laughing at the speaker, becuase they don't know that the shin is a part of the leg. This shows that the speaker probably feels excluded. Sorry if this is wrong! Hope this helped!

s2008m [1.1K]

Answer: He has come to associate the east with the ugliness of human nature and moral corruption.

Explanation:

This question is referring to a novel by Fitzgerald ''The Great Gatsby'' and Nick Carraway is the narrator that moves trough all places in the novel.

  • He is comparing both East and Midwest in the novel as the opposite ones because the East is considering a lack of human values, moral emptiness and it looked all grotesque to him.
  • He didn't like the fast life as in the East so he decided to return to the Midwest.

Debora [2.8K]
The one I don't like is the following one:

I would say either: as much as me

or

as much as I am

but not "as much as i"

</span>("as much as" requires either accusative or a phrase following it)

How long should one scene for a scripted play be?
wolverine [178]
It can be as long or as short as you like. Some scenes, when they are short, create a dynamic feeling. Other longer scenes can be more consistent and interesting. Do what you think will create the most dynamics. :)
