Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of the measures of the interior angles of any quadrilateral can be found by breaking the quadrilateral into 2 triangles.

Since, the measure of the interior angles of any triangle equals 180 degrees,

a+b+c=180

p+q+r=180

Each of the two triangles will contribute 180 degrees to the total for the quadrilateral.

Sum of angles of quadrilateral

= b+(a+p)+q+(r+c)=a+b+c+p+q+r=180+180

=360=4×90

=4 right angles

Answer:

length = 15 feet.

Step-by-step explanation:

This paper is 15 feet across on any side. Who will deliver this monster?

Area = s^2 where s is the length of 1 side.

Area = 225 feet^2  (You sure this isn't inches).

s^2 = area

s^2 = 225        Take the square root of both sides of the equation.

sqrt(s^2) = sqrt(225)

s = 15

Terrance claims that for the input coordinates (x, y), a rotation of 180° clockwise about the origin, followed by a reflection o
vodka [1.7K]

Answer:

Terrance is incorect.

Correct output coordinates (-y,-x)

Step-by-step explanation:

Let (x,y) be the input coordinates.

First translation is a rotation of 180° clockwise about the origin. This translation has a rule

(x,y)\rightarrow (-x,-y)

Second translation is a reflection over the line y = x. The general rule for the reflection across the line y=x has the rule

(a,b)\rightarrow (b,a)

When a sequence of two translations are applied to the initial input coordinates, then

(x,y)\rightarrow (-x,-y)\rightarrow (-y,-x)

As you can see Terrance made a mistake and these two transformations do not cancel themselves out.
