Answer:

y = 1609 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

g is equal to 9,8 m/s²     or 32,18 ft/s²

According to g = 32,18 ft/s²

In the first second      as  y = -1/2 g*t²

y  = 1/2 32,18*(1)²       ⇒  y  = 16,9 ft           we dismiss the sign we know the object is falling down. Is enough for the purpose of this question

The second one

y  = 1/2* (32,18)* (2)²

y = 32,18*2          ⇒    y = 64,36 ft

third second

y = 1/2*32,18*(3)²     ⇒  y  = 144,81 ft

And in the  tenth second

y =( 1/2)* 32,18 * (10)²      ⇒    y = 1609 ft

If a and b are the roots of the quadratic equation 2r + 6x -7 = 0, form the equation with the following causes.
Pepsi [2]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming the given equation is actually 2x^2+6x-7=0.

Then \alpha +\beta=-\frac{6}{2} =-3,and,\alpha \beta=-\frac{7}{2}

The sum of roots of the new equation is \frac{1}{2\alpha+1} +\frac{1}{2\beta +1} =\frac{2(\alpha+\beta+1)}{4\alpha \beta+2(\alpha +\beta)+1}

\implies \frac{1}{2\alpha+1} +\frac{1}{2\beta +1} =\frac{2(-3+1)}{4*-3.5+2(-3)+1} =\frac{4}{19}

The product of the roots of the new equation is \frac{1}{2\alpha +1}*\frac{1}{2\beta+1}=\frac{1}{4\alpha \beta+2(\alpha+\beta)+1}

\implies \frac{1}{2\alpha +1}*\frac{1}{2\beta+1}=\frac{1}{4*-3.5+2(-3)+1}   =-\frac{1}{19}

The new equation is given by:

x^2-(sum\:of\:roots)x+product\:of\:roots=0

x^2-\frac{4}{19} x-\frac{1}{19} =0

19x^2-x-1=0

gregori [183]
<span>Each ticket costs $10. He bought "x" tickets. Ticket cost = 10*x
Each bag of popcorn costs $5.
He bought "y" bags of popcorn.
Popcorn cost = 5*y Service fee: $3
Total cost = 10x + 5y + 3 <= $75 is the inequality.
10x + 5y <= 72
If x = 4,
then 40 + 5y <= 72
5y <= 32
y <= 6.4
So y = 6 bags of popcorn.</span>
