How was King George III involved in the American Revolution?
kobusy [5.1K]

Answer:

OC. His government's policies led to the discontent of the colonists.

Explanation:

George III was the King of Great Britain and Ireland during the American Revolution.

The policies that created disaffection and fomented rebellion in the colonies-such as the Stamp Act (which George III thought "abundant in absurdities") and the Townshend duties-were generated by successive British ministries.

In 1765, Prime minister George Grenville proposed an act, called the stamp act. King George accepted the act because he wanted direct tax on the colonies. this act required the colonist to buy a stamp for every piece of paper they used. newspapers, Wills, Licenses, and even playing cards had to have stamps.

George consented to the hiring of thousands of Hessian mercenaries to assist the British troops already in America in crushing the rebellion. The Revolutionary War lasted nearly eight years, largely because King George refused to surrender the colonies.

Describe how German and Italian aggression were changing the face of Europe.
Zigmanuir [339]
I am assuming that you mean in WW2. If so it change the face of Europe because other countries saw them as a threat and the threat would increase overtime. People didn't want to come to Europe especially with those two kind of government, Fascist and National Socialism many were scared to go to Europe. Mainly because their governments have authority over the people of the state.
