1.1.5 Oute: Constructing Arguments
timurjin [86]

Answer:

The most convincing argument to support this cause is scientific. Teenagers have a natural tendency to stay awake until late at night because their brains secrete melatonin (the hormone that regulates the wake-sleep cycle) later than when they were children.

Forcing teenagers to be awake early in the morning, and start school at 7:10 am does not mean that they will go to bed early at night. In fact, the opposite happens: they still go to sleep late at night as their bodies dictate, but now they wake up too early without having slept enough. The schoolday becomes a chore because they are tired.

What are the periods of colonization? Please Simplify!
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

Greeks and Phoenicians also established colonies with the intent of regulating and expanding trade throughout the Mediterranean and Middle East. Another period of colonization in ancient times was during the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire conquered large parts of Western Europe, North Africa and West Asia.

What is the process of colonization?:

The process of assuming control of someone else’s territory and applying one’s own systems of law, government, and religion is called colonization. Indeed, prior to the 1800s, settling the land was not the first priority.

Irina-Kira [14]

Answer: The history of Madagascar is distinguished clearly by the early isolation of the landmass from the ancient supercontinent containing Africa and India, and by the island's late colonization by human settlers arriving in outrigger canoes from the Sunda islands (Malay Archipelago) and from East Africa.
