An item's historical relevance and significance can impact its value. Intrinsic Value – an item is actually valuable such as fine jewlery, gems, or rare pieces of art. Re-Sale Value – an item can be sold to others because of a demand in the market.

So a ring because it is a valuable item.

Vikentia [17]

The students example illustrates the importance of the spacing effect that explains the phenomenon according to which learning is more efficient when training is distributed over time.

According to Hermann Ebbinghaus, when learning is distributed over time, information is better retained than if it is carried out in a short time.

  • It is used to memorize content and practice skills over time, rather than intensively for a short period of time.

  • The phenomena of semantic priming and long-term neuronal potentiation stand out.

Therefore, we can conclude that the spacing effect consists of reviewing information over a long period of time for better retention.
