Depends entirely, if there is a man right behind you able to hit you, catch it in the gut. Other than that, if its a standard pass-catch situation, you want them infront of the face so you can watch the ball and your hands at the same time.
There are a lot of songs on youtube and if you know the song it will automatically help you remember the verbs cause there in the song, flashcards help to but I personally prefer a song good luck ^_^
