Answer is 31

How you solve this is:
The whole line equals to 180 degrees so add 5x-16+x+10=180 that’s will be your equation. And then subtract 10 to 180 so then it will be 5x-16+x=170 then add 16 to 170 and you will be left with 5x+x=186 add the x’s together and get 6x divide 6 to 186 and then x=31

Answer:

x=31

Step-by-step explanation:

Since these angles are on a straight line, they are supplementary (combine to make 180 degrees. Therefore we can set up an equation to find x.

(5x-16)+(x+10)=180

Drop the parentheses.

5x-16+x+10=180

Combine like terms.

6x-6=180

Add 6 to both sides.

6x=186

Divide both sides by 6.

x=31

In ΔPQR, find the measure of ∡P. Hypotenuse is 57.6 and the opposite side is 33.8.
alekssr [168]

Step-by-step explanation:

pythogoras theorem = Q²=P²+R²

P=P

Q= 57.6

R=33.8 =

(57.8)²=(P)²+(33.8)²

=3,340.84=(P)²+1142.44

=3340.84-1142.44=P²

=2,198.4=P²

=   \sqrt{2198.4}  = p    \\  = 46.8 = p

You insurance policy on your car costs $600 a year. If you total your vehicle, you insurance company will pay $25,000 towards a
vladimir2022 [97]

Answer:

Your annual expected value is -$550.

Step-by-step explanation:

0.002 probability that you will total your car.

If you total your car, you pay the insurance of $600, but you get the $25,000 insurance. So in total, the net value will be $24,400.

1-0.002 = 0.998 probability that you will not total your car.

In this case, you lose $600.

What is your annual expected value?

Multiply each net value by it's probability.

E = 0.002*24400 - 0.998*600 = -550

Your annual expected value is -$550.
