Dp you think politicians today have certin political characteristics like the founders of our contry
serg [7]

Answer:

My Answer: Some do, some don't.

Explanation:

To a certain point that we're asking about this, you see Congress passing bill after bill, then sneaking some things in some of those bills for their own gain. Like the 2 Trillion Dollar bill that passed to "Help the American people". They sneaked in a pay raise for themselves & for the Executives at the Kennedy Foundation Library when our economy is in an even worse CRISIS than in 2008, all for the sake of some old people that we're that generation that passed the laws & amendment's that got us into this debt in the first place.

Some have the Typical Political standpoint, little risk, the least much of controversy as possible, the one that isn't that hated. Then you got one that makes the decisions that worsen, and will bite the Country back in the rear later on (The more the bite is delayed, the worse the bite will be later on),

then another president comes in and gets the effects of the previous president's policies.

Then, you got the one that doesn't really care for controversy, but in-fact, thrives on it, doesn't care what his opponents think, some of them are a bit of an rear, some don't filter their mouths that often, no, rarely filter... That type of Politician, or previous businessman is in the Presidency today (Donald Trump). Those we're Trump's characteristics, and there are similar people like Trump, they have their differences in tweaks, customs, Etc. But mainly in general, they have the same characteristics.

I know this may not help, but I hope this gives you inspiration.

What country was the LAST to enter World War
anzhelika [568]

Answer:

United States.

Explanation:

The United States was reluctant to join the war effort- congress specifically. Britain was left alone to fight Germany for most of the war. France was occupied by Nazis- so the most they could do was fight sporadic guerilla battles. The US finally joined the war after the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

Briefly describe laissez-faire economic policies in the Gilded Age.
pogonyaev

Answer:

The Gilded Age, which lasted from the 1870s to about the turn of the century, is the name for the heyday of the economy in the United States. The beginning and end of the Gilded Age were never precisely defined, and its beginning is often marked by the presidency of Rutherford B. Hayes or the withdrawal of the northern occupying forces from the southern states and, while its end is usually marked by the start of the 20th century.

During the Gilded Age, U.S. agricultural output grew rapidly. From the 1860s to the early 20th century, it doubled. In other sectors of the economy, however, production increased sixfold. The United States overtook the industrialization pioneers of Britain and Germany in the production of coal, iron, and steel, for example. Labor came from the agricultural district and immigrants. At the same time, urbanization was also rapid, with New York, for example, growing from more than one and a half million in 1870 to three and a half million in 1900.

Industrial efficiency was based on large production units, mass production, mechanization, large markets and standardization. By the 1900s, U.S. output per worker was 2.26 times that of Britain. The desire of American companies to develop efficiency was due to high wage costs. The real wage of a factory worker was about double that of France. However, wage differences were large both by region and by industry sector. Unskilled immigrants often had to work in poorer conditions than they had in Europe.
