Answer:

 • B:density differences in water
 • D:energy transfer from winds

Explanation:

 • The oceanic currents are produced by two major factors like the density difference and wind action.
 • They are fueled by the sun's solar radiation, Coriolis forces that is responsible for the rotation of the planet is also one of the major forces that make the current interact with the landforms.
 • Difference produced due to high and low density of seawater that is due to the presence of salt contents.

Researchers use the fossil record to help in determining Earth's history. Using
user100 [1]

Alfred Wegener proposed that the continents were once united into a single supercontinent named Pangaea, then the continents then moved to their current positions. He called his hypothesis continental drift.

What evidence was given by researchers to proof that continents were joined together?

Wegener and his supporters collected a great deal of evidence for the continental drift hypothesis which came in the 1950s from studies on the Earth’s magnetic history.

He found that identical rocks which are found on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean had formed side-by-side and land had since moved apart. Ancient fossils of the same species of plant and animals are found in rocks of the same age but are on continents they are separated.

Scientists used magnetometers, and noted that magnetic polarity of different aged rocks are from the same continent.

State the reason why ML II NK.

Given:
KLMN is a parallelogram.
Simora [160]
Since KLMN is parallelogram, the opposite set of pairs will always be parallel. This is a property of a parallelogram.

Therefore,

ML || NK
and
LK || MN

The reason behind this is the slope or inclination of opposite sides is the same. i.e. both sides rise or fall at the same rate. The slopes are same because the angles made by the opposite sides are equal in magnitude. As a result the opposite sides are always parallel.

which types of stars are thought to be the source for enriching the universe with heavy elements? Explain why
GaryK [48]

Answer:

The production of elements heavier than Iron takes place by adding neutrons to the atomic nuclei. These neutral particles do not feel any electrical repulsion from the charged nuclei. They can therefore easily approach them and thereby create heavier nuclei. This is indeed the way the heaviest chemical elements are built up.

There are actually two different stellar environments where this process of "neutron capture" can happen.
