High school should start an hour later every morning. According to research, not getting enough sleep for long periods of time will cause sleep deprivaton which could lead to more serious symptoms. If students do not or are not able to get to sleep early enough and have to wake up too early this will make them sleep-deprived because they are not able to get enough sleep. Not all high school students are able to get to sleep early enough because they have other responsibilities. This is why high school students should have an extra hour of sleep before school.
