Why did king Ashoka preach dhamma? Give 3 points
Rom4ik [11]

Answer:

Because he saw in Dharmma a way to cause an organization of social norms.

Explanation:

Dharmma was not a religion, but it used Buddhist concepts and a mixture of different religions present in the kingdom to establish a series of social norms and behavior that should be followed by the population. With the creation of Dharma, Ashoka managed to ensure that these norms were followed by everyone in his reign, regardless of the beliefs they followed, even managing to make possible visitors, or foreigners, succeed in following them without hurting their religious concepts.

Which political principle is supported by the ten commandments
AlladinOne [14]
The complete questions included these choices:A. Democratic election. B. Popular sovereignty. C. Rule of law. D. Theocratic courts. The correct answer is the rule of law. In the 10 commandments there is no mention of democracy nor theocratic courts; the ten commandments were to be dutifully respected, with grave consequences in case of transgression; although witnesses' testimonies and the prophet's/priests' interventions are mentioned in the Bible, no official trials or courts were established at the time of the 10 commandments.

What did the Europeans hope to gain by finding a sea route to Asia?
liubo4ka [24]

The main drive to find a route via sea was to avoid the silk road that was going through Asia (which was infested by bandits whom required a bribe to get passed). They wanted to trade with the Asians so that they could continue to enjoy their spice, silk, and get rich.

Overall they found a sea route because it was much safer and less expensive means of getting goods to and from Asia.

Hope it was helpful!

Type 3 sentences about greek LITERATURE in this box.
ikadub [295]

Answer:

At the beginning of Greek literature stand the two great epics, the Iliad and the Odyssey. The Iliad and the Odyssey are primary examples of the epic narrative, which in antiquity was a long narrative poem, in an elevated style, celebrating heroic achievement.

Greek literature has influenced not only its Roman neighbors to the west but also countless generations across the European continent. Greek writers are responsible for the introduction of such genres as poetry, tragedy, comedy, and western philosophy to the world.
