Patty says that if you add the same negative integer five times, the sign of the sum is negative and its size is five times the

size of the original integer.
For example:

(-7) + (-7) + (-7) + (-7) + (-7)

= 5 x (-7)

= - 35

Is Patty’s statement true for all integers?

What is the slope of the line that contains the points (4,-1) and (-1,4)?
fiasKO [112]
If you follow the slope formula your answer should be -1
proof:
slope formula: Y2-Y1/X2-X1=Slope (M)
4,-1 will be our x1,y1 and -1,4 will be our x2,y2
plug in numbers into formula: 4-(-1)/ -1-4
simplify you get 5/-5
simplify again and your answer is -1!!!

In triangle ABC mzA -45, mzB = 40", and a = 7. Which equation should you<br> solve to find b?
yaroslaw [1]

Answer:

Option A. \frac{sin(45\°)}{7}=\frac{sin(40\°)}{b}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

Applying the law of sines in the triangle ABC

\frac{sin(A)}{a}=\frac{sin(B)}{b}

substitute the given values

\frac{sin(45\°)}{7}=\frac{sin(40\°)}{b}

b=\frac{7}{sin(45\°)}sin(40\°)\\\\b=6.4\ units
