How did Native Americans respond to federal government policies—and to military actions against them?
iris [78.8K]

The native american protested against the ill practices done by the government policies.

Explanation:

The native Indian Americans were not treated nicely by the government and the policies formed by the government were mostly not in favor of the native Americans. These native Americans formed leaders of their group and they together as a group protested against the high rate of unemployment or against the taking away of the land of these groups.

The leaders of this group also protested against the discrimination which was done against them. They wanted right to be treated properly and reclamation of their land back to them.

How and Why did Reconstruction end?
marin [14]
I think, that the answer to why, is that the change in presidencies from republican to democratic (i might be wrong, and it could be democratic to republican) influenced the change slightly because the new party, wanted to focus on different issues such as westward expansion. As to how, it was because the government withdrew all federal troops from the south, so there wasn't anybody to enforce the laws protecting African American rights so the southerners were free to exploit the African Americans to their will.
