hipping, was $77.49. Each shirt cost $12.25. There was no sales tax on this purchase. Write an equation that can be used to find x.

77.49 - 3.99 = 12.25 * x

73.5 = 12.25x
(Divide both sides by 12.25)
6 = x
So, she bought six shirts
