I believe Mr Bedford survived as it said in the text that “I was the soul survivor” and it also must of meant that he was the only one who survived so that must mean mr Cavor is either dead or left behind.

Cathy and Hareton's relationship and Catherine and Heathcliff's relationship mirror each other in many ways; both Hareton and Heathcliff have a similar background, and Cathy and Catherine are also a lot alike.  However, there was a distinct selfishness related to Catherine and Heathcliff's relationship. Their choices only highlighted their differences. However, <em>Cathy and Hareton were more good natured and respectful towards one another, and thus were able to work through their differences.</em>
