OLEGan [10]

Answer:

These psychologists study how the brain organizes gestalt's. By pointing out that the whole may exceed the sum of its parts, they noted that we filter sensory information and construct perceptions. To recognize something we first have to perceive it and distinguish it from its surroundings. We order the stimuli  by organizing it into meaningful groups using categories such as,  proximity, continuity, and closure. The Necker cube provides evidence that by focusing on different parts of the figure, one can force a more stable perception of the cube demonstrating the figure ground principle of consistent interpretation.

The central idea is also referred to as the: Question 2 options: supporting material. audience. specific purpose. thesis.
Mashcka [7]

The correct answer is D. Thesis

Explanation:

In texts and presentations, the main point the author wants to convey is known as the central idea or the thesis statement. The term "thesis statement" is equivalent to the central idea but this term is mainly used in argumentative texts or speeches because the thesis is the main point you want to prove to the audience. Additionally, the thesis or main point is developed and supported by the author through details, reasons, facts, citations, among others. Thus, the central idea is also referred to as the thesis.
