1 answer:
Goshia [24]2 years ago
3 0

Answer:

In her poem, Maya Angelou reflects on growing old and describes it as a stage in life in which, despite some limitations caused by old age, people should be treated as they were treated during younger years, and they should also show gratitude for being able to reach such an age.

Explanation:

She explains that being quiet doesn’t mean one needs company and that struggling to get upstairs is no reason to feel pity. Those physical changes don´t mean one has become different than before.

What kind of poem reading does the following represent?
slamgirl [31]
The kind of poem reading that the lines above represent is literal reading. There are no figures of speech here, such as metaphors, personifications, etc. which is why it's not a symbolic, figurative, or analytical reading. There is nothing to analyze here - the lines just tell the story of an eagle searching for its prey - it can't get any more literal than that.
