Look at the blank with the number 9 in the passage. Which of these answers correctly completes the sentence?
Ray Of Light [21]

Answer:

The passage's context is <em>"survival in the wild"</em><em>;</em> how certain species thrive <em>under</em> adverse circumstances, being part of an untamed environment.

Thus if the <em>"Sand Cat"</em> is <em>"eking out a living"</em>, it definitely must be because it's likely <em>"</em><em>under </em><em>difficult conditions</em>". Thereby the most suitable answer is (C.): under.

The cold seeped into my bones, chilling my core, and slowing my thoughts to a snails' space. What does it mean my slowing my tho
Anastaziya [24]
Hi!

Since snails go really slowly, and it says "SLOWING my thoughts...", we can interpret that he/she isn't thinking of things very fast. Our brains can think things so fast, normally we don't even have to think about it. (Wow, how many times can I say 'think' in one sentence?) But he/she is having that process slowed, probably because he/she can only focus on how cold he/she is.

Hope this helps!
