Roman children of wealthy families were sent to school.

Roman's generally had two ways to learn through education:

1) Home-school: Families that were literate taught their children (& if they were middle-classed or poor) at home, and usually this teaching was passed down through generations.

2) School: Richer families generally paid tuitions for either tutors or to send their children to school. Think of their schools as like "private schools", where you'd have to pay a tuition to enroll.

List the 4 main points of the laws governing radiation
Andru [333]

A law is used to describe a body of observations, and when studying radiation there are four:

Planck's Law

This law states that every object emits radiation over the entire electromagnetic spectrum.  That means that you emit radiation at all wavelengths, and so does everything around you.

Wein's Law

It states that the wavelength of peak emission is inversely proportional to the temperature of the emitting object.

Stefan–Boltzmann Law

This law states that the total amount of energy per unit area emitted by an object is proportional to the 4th power of the temperature.

Kirchhoff's Law

This law states that for an object whose temperature is not changing, an object that absorbs radiation well at a particular wavelength will also emit radiation well at that wavelength.

The two main kinds of slavery were _____. chattel and free, free and indentured, indentured and chattel, chattel and servitude
vladimir2022 [97]

Answer:

The two main kinds of slavery were indentured and chattel.

Explanation:

Slavery is a situation in which one person (the slave) is the property of another (the master). Thus understood, it constitutes a particular form of production relationship, typical of a certain level of development of the productive forces in the evolution of the economy.

There were two main forms of slavery: the indentured servitude, which consisted of a temporary contract of servitude, in which the indentured servant worked free for a certain time, in exchange for a certain benefit; and the chattel slavery, by which the slave was wholly owned by his master, without any kind of rights.
