Read the following excerpt from Anne Frank Remembered by Miep Gies. At that moment, I began to feel that I was getting a little

more control of the situation. I felt as though I'd grown a little in height. He studied me. I could hear him thinking, Here are two people standing across from each other who are from one country, from one city. One hunts Jews and the other protects them. Which sentence from the excerpt would a prepared speaker best use to support the viewpoint that Miep Gies gathered a lot of courage at this moment? He studied me. One hunts Jews and the other protects them. At that moment, I began to feel that I was getting a little more control of the situation. Here are two people standing across from each other who are from one country, from one city.

Why were delegates working to replace the Articles of Confederation?
Basile [38]

Answer:

The correct answer is A. Delegates were working to replace the Articles of Confederation because they created a central government that was too weak.

Explanation:

The Articles of Confederation formed a weak confederation that united the Thirteen Colonies, with the capacity to govern themselves almost only in times of war and emergencies. Congress could make decisions, but did not have the power to apply them. The biggest setback was the requirement of unanimous approval of the Thirteen states to modify the articles. At the same time, the most important power that Congress lacked was the power to collect taxes: it could only request money from the States. These, for their part, did not always comply with the demands and Congress did not have the necessary funds for its operation.

After the end of the War of Independence and the beginning of new priorities, its limitations became evident. This document was replaced by the Constitution of the United States after its ratification on June 21, 1788.

The Korean war ended after three years of fighting in?
Karolina [17]
The Korean war lasted about three years but the Korean Armistice Agreement only ceased-fire. It did not end the war.
Meaning that it did not end after three years. It was only announced recently as of 2018 that the war might possibly come to a close after I believe at least over 60 years.
