Answer:

B). 3rd Person Omniscient

Explanation:

In the given excerpt, the author has employed a 'third-person omniscient' point of view as the readers have knowledge about the thoughts, feelings, as well as, emotions of every character(Aunt Harriet, Elizabeth Ann). The descriptions displaying that Elizabeth knew what Aunt Harriet thinks about Putney while Aunt Harriet did not mean to say so. Thus, the readers are able to know what every character goes through. Using the Latin root mort meaning death and the prefix im meaning not, the meaning of immortality as used in this sentence from
NARA [144]

Answer:

D

Explanation:

The root mort means death and the prefix im means not. This prefix is used in many other English words such as immaculate, immature, immediate, imminent, immeasurable, etc., and negates the effect of the root word.

In the case of im + mort, the word immortal means not dead or never experiencing death. Another way of expressing this idea is a never-ending or undending existence.

Part C Write a one-page personal essay that uses narrative or descriptive techniques or both. Identify a big change that happene
Tamiku [17]

The changes can be frightening, but they are very important for the development of our life and for us to be able to accumulate new experiences that will be very beneficial for us.

One of the most frightening changes for me was when I had to move from the city where I spent my entire life to a city on the other side of the country. I was very frightened by this change, because I was afraid of being lonely, of not finding comfortable things and places in the new city, of not being able to adapt and feeling strange, a fish out of water. However, even with the fear and a certain anguish, I could not help avoiding the change and I faced it as best I could.

I confess that the first few days were difficult and I felt like a child who had lost his favorite toy. However, I encouraged myself to change this situation, to leave the comfort zone and explore the city, to know the places where I could feel good. These places made me find really cool people who are very important to my route today.

I don't feel like a soldier who has returned home, but as an explorer who has found wealth, even away from home.
