2. Read this passage and then explain the difference between causation and correlation.
djverab [1.8K]

Answer:

The difference between causation and correlation, is that causation is when one event causes another one to happen. Correlation is not causation because two events can correlate, but that doesn’t mean that they caused each other. One example of causation could be because there was a large  run of salmon, he got the most he has ever caught. One example of correlation is that there was a large run of salmon, and coincidently the new mayor is a great fisherman. There being a large run of salmon did not cause the new mayor, who is a good fisherman, to be elected. That’s a little confusing, you may have to read it more than once.

NikAS [45]

Answer:

In 1832, the United States Supreme Court ruled the "Worcester v. Georgia State" case.

Explanation:

In 1832, the United States Supreme Court ruled the "Worcester v. Georgia State" case. Tribal sovereignty was restored through it, protecting Cherokee natives from the laws of Georgia. President Jackson breached much of the content of the ruling and the Georgia Legislature began the Cherokee land auction.

The Trail of Tears is the name that received the banishment to the west of the United States from the Choctaw in 1831 and from the Cherokee in 1838 by imposition of the Americans. As a result of this migration, an estimated four thousand Cherokee Indians died.

What do the enforcement acts do?
Ronch [10]

Answer:

In response to the growing use of violence and intimidation against African-Americans, Congress enacted the Enforcement Act of 1870. This legislation prohibited groups of people from going in disguise or engaging in activities that would violate the rights of citizens. Unfortunately, this legislation did not prevent harassment of African-Americans in certain areas.
