The reason why my main interest and concern is about the well being of the environment is because it affects pretty much everything else. Healthy environment provides for everything and everyone, for all the living organisms. The humans have enormous benefits because a healthy environment provides lot of health benefits, economic progress, and well balanced human-environment situation in which everyone can enjoy. A damaged environment is one of the worst things possible. The effects on the health are terrible, species get extinct or endangered, the pollution in enormous, erosive processes very strong, and leads to collapse of the ecosystems which will inevitably catch up with the humans as well.
