The rising action is defined as the procession of incidents about efforts of the protagonist that boost anxiety, which push the plot forward, and ultimately result in the climax of the story.
In The Butterfly Circus, the Rising action was when the Limbless man who is known as "Will" decided to escape from his previous life of performing freak shows and starts to look for other means of personal escape for success but eventually realize that nobody will give him that success except he channel the necessary effort to develop his extraordinary talent at the butterfly circus
