No, they shouldn't students, especially if they are in elementary or in middle school should, of course, they should know that people will sometimes say negative things about them but its a teacher's job to show the students how to deal with those people and it's not the teacher's job to be like those people because students are only being  affected by their negative comments and things Mr. Blessington might say, and some students might even copy Mr.b's behavior and become rude people like Mr.Blessington.
