1. The South responded awfully to Nat Turner’s rebellion. They were furious with what had taken place, and they executed around 60 people who had engaged in the rebellion. Southerns also killed Nat Turner himself, and killed over 200 African-Americans in the days after the rebellion.

2. Nat Turner’s Rebellion and the Underground Railroad were two different ways of getting rid and escaping slavery. The Rebellion was much more brutal, and involved outright violence and confrontation (Slaves confronting and killing White people/Slave Owners). The Underground Railroad was a system that was discreet, and was meant to be success through hiding and running at night. The Underground Railroad avoided confrontation. The type of resistance that I think is more effective is the Underground Railroad. If were careful enough, you would be able to escape and earn your freedom in the North. The rebellion caused many casualties and chaos.
