One important influence is climate ie many Canadians, especially from the cold Prairies like to move to Vancouver, BC because the climate is so much milder in the winter due to the proximity of the Pacific Ocean. Another important influence is topography, so that if a country is mostly mountainous, the cost of road building will be more expensive than on, say the prairies or on the coastal desert of Peru and northern Chile. Another important influence of geography is the presence of fertile soil such as in El Salvador from the ash of the volcanoes to grow coffee in, or the fertile floodplain of the Nile River in Egypt.
Cliffs are very heavy rocks and when there is too much weight it can cause cracks that weakens the structural integrity which can cause the cliff to either collapse or give way, falling on the ground below which can kill people crush cars or block roads. Hope this helps :)
Precipitation occurs more over the land.
Because gm crops can't replace everything. yes even they can make a better species and increase the productivity, but some countries or farmers might not have the technology to replace all the crops with gm crops, and they still have to rely on chemical fertilisers. chemical fertilisers can be deadly as if u overuse them, it can pollute the water and leading to euthrophication, where it can kill sea animals
