Can someone write about a time when you had to stand up for what was right ?

English
1 answer:
Dafna11 [192]3 years ago
4 0

Explanation:

Yes, of course, in one case I had to defend an unknown person from my own friend, she wanted to incriminate her for something she hadn't done, my friend wanted me to lie for her and accuse another girl, but, you can't go for life doing that kind of thing so I told the truth about what my friend wanted to do and advised my friend to change her mind, apparently it worked because she lost her friendship, she was not very good because she was a bad person, but i did the right thing.

Is it my grandkids and me or I?
lianna [129]
Its both. Depending on the type of sentence you're using. If it is describing an action you did with your grandkids then you would use, 'my grandkids and I'. If it is describing an action someone else did for you and your grandkids then it'd be 'my grandkids and me'.

Based on the historical context information, how does Elizabeth Cady Stanton use the popular view of women to argue for women’s
Vlada [557]
This excerpt is talking a lot about the difference between men and women so you can eliminate A and C. B is the most logical answer here because the author doesn't want to destroy society she wants to better it and throwing off their feminine qualities is not the right answer. So, here B is the best answer.

What is the best description of Buck‘s character, based on this excerpt? Buck is careful and methodical. Buck is mean and aggres
Scrat [10]

Answer:

A. Buck is careful and methodical

Explanation:

Below is the excerpt from "The Call of the Wild:"

"The dominant primordial beast was strong in Buck, and under the fierce conditions of trail life it grew and grew. Yet it was a secret growth. His newborn cunning gave him poise and control. He was too busy adjusting himself to the new life to feel at ease, and not only did he not pick fights, but he avoided them whenever possible. A certain deliberateness characterized his attitude. He was not prone to rashness and precipitate action; and in the bitter hatred between him and Spitz he betrayed no impatience, shunned all offensive acts."

From the above excerpt, we can infer that Buck is careful and methodical. He doesn't pick on fights but rather avoided them. Also, he comported himself and endeavoured to avoid offensive acts. Furthermore, he was not prone to rashness.

"The Call of the Wild" is a short adventure story written by Jack London. A dog named Buck is the central character of the story. In the story, Buck is stolen from his home and was sold as a sled dog in Alaska. In the environment he finds himself, he becomes progressively feral. Such environment forces him to fight in order to survive and at the same time dominate other dogs.
