, her phone bill was $72.60. In April, her phone bill was $65.85. How many texts did she send each month?

For both months:

[(72.6 + 65.85) - 35(2)] / 0.05 = b



(138.45 - 70) / 0.05 = b




68.45 / 0.05 = b



b = 1369





For March:


(72.6 - 35) / 0.05 = m



37.6 / 0.05 = m



m = 752




For April:




(65.85 - 35) / 0.05 = a



30.85 / 0.05 = a



a = 617
