Answer:

#1

The Wolf Creek Pass is a route through the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. It is an important habitat and migration path for elk, lynx, black bears, and deer. It also offers an important water supply to nearby communities. A private developer wants to build a large resort along the pass. Many community members oppose this construction. They say it will harm the environment and destroy many animal habitats. They fear it will also ruin local businesses. Oh no! What can concerned community members do?

#2

Certain areas of California experience long periods of drought. This can be caused by an unusually low amount of rain and snowfall. The heavy use of water in farming can also contribute to the problem. Drought can affect a community’s economy and the natural environment.

#4

A community noticed a lack of people participating in the city’s recycling program. Public officials interviewed members of the community to find out why only a few people were recycling. They learned that many people did not like separating their recycling into different bins. What can local government do to help make recycling easier?

#5 (BIG ONE!)

Such views can be on certain issues affecting them or the society at large.

These issues encompass both social and political issues, present and past events and so much more. To an extent, one could say an essay can be likened to short stories and pamphlets.

This article focuses on facts most people including scholars, have no knowledge of the act of quality essay writing.

With the English language being so vast and widespread around the world, it comes as no surprise that each year sees the language change and evolve.

These changes and evolution are most times lost on the scholars, which ultimately means that they are in the dark about most key facts on writing an English essay.

The dominant cycles in the development and evolution of the English language can often be cited as the Old, Middle, and Modern English.

This characteristic change and evolution of the English language is also a phenomenon shared with essay writing as mentioned in the previous passage.

An excellent or skilled paper writer has sufficient knowledge on these changes as they monitor such evolution of grammar.

Compute a value for t that satisfies the equation below. "-2/3" t - 2 = - 3
Dima020 [189]

Answer:

t = 3/2

Step-by-step explanation:

Instead of randomly guessing values of "t" that will satisfy the equation, you can easily find the correct value by solving the equation in terms of "t". In other words, you can set the equation equal to "t" to find the final answer.

(-2/3)t - 2 = -3                             <----- Original equation

(-2/3)t = -1                                   <----- Add 2 to both sides

t = 3/2                                        <----- Divide both sides by -2/3

You can check this value by plugging it into "t" and determining whether both sides of the equations will be equal.

(-2/3)t - 2 = -3                            <----- Original equation

(-2/3)(3/2) - 2 = -3                      <----- Plug 3/2 into "t"

-6/6 - 2 = -3                               <----- Multiply -2/3 and 3/2

-1 - 2 = -3                                    <----- Simplify -6/6

-3 = -3                                        <----- Subtract

What is the equation of the line that passes through the points four over 5 , and one over five and then one half , and three ov
Scorpion4ik [409]
Your answer is y = -(13/3)x + 11/3. I have put the brackets to show that the entire fraction is negative, they do not do anything else.
First we need to find the slope of the line using the equation (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1), so we get (3/2 - 1/5)/(1/2 - 4/5). To make this easier, I did each subtraction separately:
3/2 - 1/5 = 15/10 - 2/10 = 13/10
1/2 - 4/5 = 5/10 - 8/10 = -(3/10)
And then we need to divide 13/10 by -(3/10), so:
13/10 ÷ -(3/10) = 13/10 × -(10/3) = -(130/30) = -(13/3), which is our slope.
Then, we can write the equation y = -(13/3)x + c, and substitute in coordinates:
3/2 = (-13/3 × 1/2) + c
3/2 = -(13/6) + c
c = 11/3
So the final equation is y = -(13/3)x + 11/3.
I hope this helps!
