Instead of using the terms I believe, I think, For inferences, use things like "During this part of the book". Or "Going back to the question". Also, if its a story use they them, She her, he him. instead of I, me, when youre showing somebody thinking. Use things like "Oh No! Emily Thought" to really bring the story alive.
