Dmitriy789 [7]
A
Not correct. She could have been using references to anything. Not all her references are from literature. Southern Bitter Wormwood is a reference to the wormwood plant which is medicinal in nature and it is very bitter.

C
Maybe. But there's a better answer. It's not her personality we are drawn to although it is quite bubbly if this passage is any kind of indication. It is the joy she takes in recognizing that Beowulf likes a good drink and he  wanted her to join him and she was delighted by the invitation.

D
She could have been talking about anything that engaged her. It just happened to be mostly about the classics.

B
This is the best answer. C and D are close, but it really is B that we are attracted to. We have our eyes opened to the grand people in books. More than that we feel her joy in Beowulf, her polite tea conversation with Oliver Twist, her astonishing acceptance of the meaning of Sydney Carton's statement at the end of a Tale of Two Cities.

How could culture encourage teenagers to end up being parents before the right time
postnew [5]

Answer:

No matter whether observed between cultures or across cultures, the variations in parenting beliefs and behaviors are fascinating regardless of the group or ethnicity the parent comes from. Cultural differences in parenting are becoming an increasingly popular topic of research. As a first step, it describes the philosophical foundations, methods, and rationales that underlie cross-cultural studies of parenting. Following that, it discusses some core issues in cultural parenting, including universals and universal attitudes. There is also a description of specifics, and a distinction between form and function. Finally, future directions of social policy can be discussed in relation to cultural approaches to parenting.

What might be the significance of Caedmon being a simple cowherd?
lara [203]

As Bede, the writer, was a devout Christian, he used many references to Christianity in his work. Jesus Christ was considered a shepherd to his flock as he led people out of sinful lives into sin-free lives. Similarly, Caedmon is said to have led people away from their vices and toward the path to heaven through his song. A cowherd was also a person at the bottom of the social ladder. This fact might be meant to imply that through divine grace, even a man from a humble background may change many lives.
