Evgen [1.6K]
Given that 4 people would not go to a park or a beach or a cottage.

Number of people that will go to neither a park nor a cottage but will go to a beach = 5 - 4 = 1.

Number of people that will go to neither a beach nor a cottage but will go to a park = 9 - 4 = 5

Number of people that will go to neither a park nor a beach but will go to a cottage = 8 - 4 = 4

Number of people that will not go to a cottage but will go to a beach or a park = 12 - 5 - 1 = 6

Number of people that will not go to a beach but will go to a cottage or a park = 10 - 5 - 4 = 1

Number of people that will not go to a park but will go to a beach or a cottage = 12 - 4 - 1 = 7

Number of people willing to go to all three places = 5

Therefore, total number of colleagues = 4 + 1 + 5 + 4 + 6 + 1 + 7 + 5 = 33

Goal: Find a reasonable domain and range for each function.
slamgirl [31]
D(x) = 32x......ur range will be ur d(x) values and the domain will be ur x values.....where d(x) = total distance and x = gallons.
So we already know that ur car's fuel tank holds 17 gallons....therefore, ur domain has to be 17 gallons or less...but it cant be negative.
so ur domain is : 0 < = x < = 17

now for ur range....since the car only holds 17 gallons....d(x) = 32(17) = 544 miles....thats the farthest it can go...therefore it can go from 0 to 544 miles....so ur range is : 0 < = d(x) < = 544

or u could write it as : domain = (0,17) with 0 representing an empty tank and 17 representing a full tank.....and ur range = (0,544) with 0 representing 0 miles driven and 544 representing 544 miles driven

What is the measure of U
iris [78.8K]

Answer:

U = 48

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of the angles of a triangle add to 180 degrees

x+21 + x+23 + x+61 = 180

Combine like terms

3x + 105 = 180

Subtract 105 from each side

3x+105-105 = 180-105

3x = 75

Divide by 3

3x/3 = 75/3

x = 25

We want angle u

x+23

25+23

48
