3. Do some Internet research on the use of VLANs in hospitals. Summarize the benefits of using VLANs in hospitals and identify e
motikmotik

VLAN refers to Virtual Local Area Network. It is a subnetwork that can group together collection of devices on separate physical Local Area Networks. VLANs allow network administrators to group hosts together even if the hosts are not directly connected to the same network switch.

Considering the large number of departments in hospitals, with each departments having functions different from the others, Virtual LANs allows various users(the departments) to be grouped together according to their networking needs, regardless of their actual physical locations. Subdividing the LAN into smaller segments, or VLANs, increases overall reliability, security, and performance, and makes the network easier to maintain.

Because of the largeness of St. Luke's hospitals and their mission of delivering highly reliable and feature-rich advanced network solutions, virtual LAN will help to provide a resilient and scalable network solution within the hospital's budget.

St. Luke should implement virtual LAN that can produce a higher bandwidth with lower-cost, a longer-term model based on servers, networking products and homogenous network components to deliver centralized management of computing across the hospital network.

You should check your battery ___________. Every week Never Every six months Every 30,00 miles
vova2212 [387]

The answer is Every six months

A battery acts as the brain of a car and is used to power almost everything. It can last up to five years. However, this lifespan will depend on how well the battery is maintained and the type of weather conditions you live in. Aim to check your car battery at least twice a year. Actually, it is best to check your battery regularly and not to wait for your mechanic to test your battery during routine servicing.

Write a program that will take a file named Celsius.dat that contains a list of temperatures in Celsius (one per line), and will
dedylja [7]

Answer:

celciusFile=open("celcius.dat","r")

fahrenheitFile=open("fahrenheit.dat","w")

# Iterate over each line in the file

for line in celciusFile.readlines():

# Calculate the  fahrenheit

   fahrenheit = 9.0 / 5.0 * float(line) + 32

#write the Fahrenheit values to the Fahrenheit file

   fahrenheitFile.write("%.1f\n" % fahrenheit)

# Release used resources

celciusFile.close()

fahrenheitFile.close()

Explanation:

celciusFile=open("celcius.dat","r")

fahrenheitFile=open("fahrenheit.dat","w")

open the Celsius file in the read mode and assign it to a variable.

open the Fahrenheit file in the write mode and assign it to a variable.

read mode means you can only use/read the content in the file but cannot alter it.

write mode means you can write new data to the file.

  • # Iterate over each line in the file

for line in celciusFile.readlines():

The values contained in the Celsius file are collected.

  • # Calculate the  fahrenheit

    fahrenheit = 9.0 / 5.0 * float(line) + 32

The values are then converted to Fahrenheit.

  • #write the Fahrenheit values to the Fahrenheit file

    fahrenheitFile.write("%.1f\n" % fahrenheit)

The Fahrenheit values are written to the Fahrenheit file

%.1f is used to specify the number of digits after decimal. and \n adds a new line.

  • # Release used resources

celciusFile.close()

fahrenheitFile.close()

All files are closed
