Which internal energy source is the most important in continuing to heat the terrestrial planets today?

Geography

Answer:    A. Radioactivity

Explanation:  Internal heat is a feature of planets and other celestial bodies, such as stars and others, and according to some scientific claims, even some of the asteroids had internal heat in the early stages of the solar system.

The most important internal heat source of the earth and the other planets is certainly radioactivity, which means that the natural radioactive decay of radioactive elements in the earth releases heat, which as such is the most significant internal heat source. The reaction of radioactive decay emits heat; more precisely, the radiation energy of radioactive particles induces the movement of atoms and the increase of their energy, and this increase in energy means heat.

It is known that gravitational force acts not only on earth but also on other celestial bodies, so this force is also an important source of the inner heat of celestial bodies. There are also geothermal energy sources on earth, and many others mentioned.

Q.1 Define Tectonic plates, Mountainous rift and earthquake
Stels [109]

Answer:

Defined as below

Explanation:

Plate tectonics are defined as the pieces of Earth's crust floating over the liquid asthenosphere or the movements of sheets/plates of hard rock over the rigid mantle. Varying in thickness moving in the directions to there orientation. They are either oceanic or continental plates

Rift valleys are generally linear or are highlands that separated by actions of geologic agents. It may be formed by a divergent or a convergent plate movement. 0n earth can occur on all height above mean sea levels. Extraterrestrial Rift valleys have also been found on planets in the solar system.  Example is Eastern valley of africa.

Earthquake is a shaking of the earth from the interior due to the vibrations and waves produced due to the movement of geo-material beneath the earth's crust. These waves are measured on a Richter scale and range from 1 to 12 caused by sliding of the earth plates from the convergent, divergent and transform boundaries. Like the ring of fire an earthquake prone region.

If the population is growing quickly in a small area, than the ___must be increasing as well.
olganol [36]

Answer:

Population density.

Explanation:

Population density is a statistical data that allows graphing the number of people living in a given territory, dividing the number of inhabitants of that territory by its size, usually in square kilometers or square miles.

Thus, the more the population increases in a territory, the more its population density will increase. An example of territories with a high population density is Hong Kong, with about 7,000 inhabitants per square kilometer, while an example of a nation with a low population density is Canada, with 4 inhabitants per square kilometer.
