I believe that it is Jesus who ‘founded’ Christianity.

Constantine allowed Christians to worship freely and by allowing this, he played a key role in Christianity’s growth. Jesus, on the other hand, was the “son of god” and is believed to have started Christianity as he was the central figure of the religion.
