Answer:

Importance of Greenhouse Gases

Greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and certain synthetic chemicals, trap some of the Earth's outgoing energy, thus retaining heat in the atmosphere. This heat trapping causes changes in the radiative balance of the Earth—the balance between energy received from the sun and emitted from Earth—that alter climate and weather patterns at global and regional scales.

Multiple lines of evidence confirm that human activities are the primary cause of the global warming of the past 50 years.1 Natural factors, such as variations in the sun's output, volcanic activity, the Earth's orbit, the carbon cycle, and others, also affect Earth's radiative balance. However, beginning in the late 1700s, the net global effect of human activities has been a continual increase in greenhouse gas concentrations.

Taking a position on the French Revolution was difficult for Washington because:
Viktor [21]

Answer:

D. the president's role in foreign policy had not yet been specifically defined.

Explanation:

The Constitution does not explicitly state that the President has sole authority over foreign policy, and so at this point in history it was still unclear exactly how much power the President actually had in regards to international affairs. Washington didn't want to take a position on such a contentious issue without knowing for sure that he could back up his stance with actual authority.

Explain surface and deep culture of education? (give one example for each).
musickatia [10]
Surface culture is a tangible norm that is used to define the culture for example food, clothing, art.

Deep culture is ones thoughts, feelings, or personal opinion on that culture.

You could probably use the public education system for both of those definitions. Hope this helps!
