Almost all writing fits into one genre or another. This is something that can certainly be debated, and often is. Research the v

arious types of fictional genres, and try to figure out what genre Journey to the Center of the Earth would fit into. Using credible sources, such as .edu, try to find examples or definitions of the genre you choose. After you have done that, look for at least five examples from the novel that fit into the category. The writing you will submit will include:
• the definition or characteristics of the genre you think the novel fits in

• a list of five examples from the novel that support the idea that this novel fits into the genre you found

Answer:

1. I know that Journey to the Center of the Earth is science fiction. Science fiction is fiction that focuses on the advancement of sciences and technology or the same in the past.

2. An example of science fiction is in the story itself is when they are so far down underground but still can breathe. Also, the mini underground village being underneath there as well as an ocean. I also do not think it is possible for them to ride up a volcano on the water with lava underneath for so long. I also believe that it is impossible for all of them to go that long without any water. And, finally, I do not think there can be giant mushrooms so far underground.

The correct answer is A. Only

Explanation

It is known as a modifier to words or phrases that act by modifying the core of the subject in a sentence, complementing its meaning. Among the modifiers of the subject's nucleus, there are the articles and adjectives that accompany the subject's nucleus noun, define it, and agree with it in gender and number. These modifiers are called direct modifiers. Therefore, Only is a modifier because it modifies the complete meaning of the phrase by modifying the core noun of the subject "they". So the correct answer is A. Only.
