This greek city was athens. the reason they went to war was because the persians controlled many ionian city states who rebelled against the persians. the ionian city states won with the help of athens. because of that, the persians were mad at the athens and tried to conquer them at marathon.

I would think it would be C. The revolutionary war was mainly between the colonist in America and England, so if Historian A thinks that the war was caused by the Americans then it is likely that they are British. If historian B thinks that the war was caused by the British, then it is likely that they are American.
