Oh which snack to pick

Popsicle I could lick

Maybe some candy

or maybe a fish stick

I look inside the pantry

and stared at it blankly

for all the things inside

made me very very angry

I opened up the fridge

Just a tiny little smidge

The light didn't turn on

So I thought it was a glitch

My belly was very hungry

and I wanted something funky

so I made my way to the living room

to ask something to siri

Then i hopped into my car

Hoping to go far

I droved to a restraunt

and stopped at the snack bar.

Drag and drop to put the steps of the close reading strategy in order from first to last.
omeli [17]

The correct order of steps is: Analyze how the structure contributes to the author's ideas, examine how events, ideas, and people develop and build big ideas, explore how word choice creates meaning, and make connections to other tests or the world.

How does this contribute to reading?

 • Allows the reader to analyze the text in parts.
 • Allow small details to be noticed.
 • Allows the reader to look at the text in an orderly manner.

Reading strategies aim to optimize reading and make the reader understand the text deeply, analyzing not only the words presented but also analyzing the entire physical construction of the text and how it contributes to the desired message.

Summary of chapter1 of Urgum the axe man
name of chapter: The Returning Hero
Natali [406]

Answer:

A good old fashioned corset comedy with minimal laughs but a decent level of charm, Return of the Hero (Le Retour du heros) pairs two of America’s favorite Frenchies for a drawing room farce about love, valor and duplicity at the start of the 19th century. Oscar winner Jean Dujardin stars opposite Melanie Laurent as a swashbuckling swindler trying to take advantage of the latter’s aristocratic family, resulting in a few funny scenes played out in lavish costumes and eye-popping decors. The result could score well with Gallic audiences, including Dujardin’s local fan base, but it’s not sure whether the humor — or lack of it — will translate outside of Europe or Francophonia.

What is one aspect of a piece of writing that can tell you about it's organization when you are trying to summarize it?
Natasha_Volkova [10]

Transitions in a piece of writing help organize the text. Transitions can be found inside a paragraph, between paragraphs or between sections in a long writing.

Some very common transitional expressions can show addition, cause and effect, example, exception, sequence, conclusion or similarity. Using these expressions helps give the text meaning and organization, and they might help if we want to summarize a text.

According to everything explained above, the correct answer would be "C".
