The answer would be -35. I think so because you multiply -5 by 7. You also multiply 7x by 7 too right?

The answer is x>1 (saying > is = to greater than or equal to). if you substitute the > for = the equation then is 7x-5=x+1. then you move the x and -5 which makes it 7x-x=1+5. 7x-x=6x and 1+5=6 that makes is 6x=6 and each side divided by 6 gives you x=1. now you re-substitute the = to a > and is x>1.

i know what im am saying and i guarantee it is right.
P.S every > is greater than or equal to symbol.

Justin ran 15 miles at a constant rate in 2.5 hours. The next day, he ran at a rate that was 1 mph slower. What was Justin’s rat
finlep [7]
We can use the factor label method for this problem. The real hint to these types of equations are the units. In this case the units are in miles per hour for the rate.
15 miles/ 2.5 hours = 6mph or 6 miles/hours
If his rate was 1 mph slower we just subtract 1 from 6 mph
6mph - 1mph= 5 mph.

Hope this helps, good luck.
