Answer:

YES

Step-by-step explanation:

the dimensions of the poster board has to be converted to inches to add comparability

1 feet = 12 inches

3 x 12 = 36 inches

width = 2 x 12 = 24 inches

Area = length x breadth

36 x 24 = 864 cm^2

area of sticker = 2 x 2 = 4cm^2

Number of stickers that can be put on the board = 864 / 4 = 216

216 is greater than 100. So the board has enough room for the stickers

Answer:

2 nickels, 9 dimes

Step-by-step explanation:

When there are a number of overlapping shaded areas on the graph, I find it convenient to use the reverse of the inequalities. That makes the unshaded area the solution space. Here, the vertices of the triangular solution space are ...

 (2, 9), (2, 13), (6, 9)

Any of the grid points within (or on) this triangle is a possible solution. One of them is (2, 9) corresponding to 2 nickels and 9 dimes.

__

Three solutions are shown:

 (x, y) = (2, 9), (3, 10), (4, 11)

I don't know how to solve this
sergiy2304 [10]
The answer that I got was side WX = 12 inches

It says that WY is congruent to XY which means that they are the same. That means that XY is also 3m-4. It also says that the perimeter of the triangle is 76 inches.

With this information I set up an equation:

3m-4 + 3m-4 +m = 76

(The number on the right side is the perimeter given to us in the problem and the numbers on the left side are the 3 side lengths).

I combined like terms on the left side and ended up with:

7m-8=76

I added 8 to both sides of the equation and got 7m=84.

Finally I divided both sides by 7 and got m=12

m is equivalent to side WX..

Hope this helps!
