Doctors examine medical history of the patient, order, perform & interpret diagnostic tests before prescribing the medicine. Mathematics required for a doctor are college algebra, trigonometry, calculus, linear algebra, statistics & probility. They use statistical models to guide diagnoses & treat. Becoming a doctor means learning everything there is to know about the human body. The human body itself is an incredible thing to study and medical students and doctors have the opportunity to further examine it with the most innovative technology.

I’m not quite sure but I think the reason is that in science u learn about chemicals which can do with being a doctor and u also learn about the body which a doctor would need to know to treat a patient it needs all parts of science they also need to learn more math just in case giving medication they know how much is needed so they won’t take to much or less
