The college student girls $3,000 for nine months to pay a semester of school if the interest is $185.63 find the monthly payment
Mademuasel [1]
3000 for 9 months...plus the interest of 185.63

(3000 + 185.63) / 9 = 3185.63 / 9 = 353.96 per month (and thats rounded)

What is the area of the trapezoid with height 10 units? Enter your answer in the box. units2 A rectangle with a length of 5 and
LenaWriter [7]
If by "long leg lengths" you mean the hypotenuse then the area is 116 sq. units. If you mean the bases of the triangles then the area is 170 sq. units.

If the length of 12 is the hypotenuse, we first must find the base of the triangles using the Pythagorean theorem:

10² + b² = 12²
100 + b² = 144
b² = 44
b = √44 = 6.6

This means we have two triangles and a rectangle. The area of the rectangle is 5(10) = 50 sq. units. The area of each triangle is 1/2(6.6)(10) = 33. Adding all 3 together we have:

50+33+33 = 116 sq. units.

If the 12 is the base, then we have the rectangle with the area of 5(10) = 50 and two triangles each with an area of 1/2(12)(10) = 60:

50+60+60 = 170 sq. units.

Graph the linear equation 16x + 2y = 300. Show your work.
Trava [24]

Answer:

y= -8x + 150

x = -0.125y + 18.75

Step-by-step explanation:

y explanation:

16x+2y=300

Add -16x to both sides: 16x+2y+(-)16x = 300 + (-)16x - this becomes:

2y = -16x+300

Now divide both sides by 2: 2y/2 = (-16x+300)/2 - this becomes:

-8x + 150

So...y= -8x+150

x explanation:

16x+2y = 300

Add -2y to both sides: 16x+2y+(-)2y = 300+(-)2y - this becomes:

16x = -2y+300

Now divide both sides by 16: 16x/16 = (-2y+300)/16 - this becomes:

-1/8y + 75/4...you can simplify this to: -0.125y + 18.75

So...x = -0.125y + 18.75

I hope this helps :)
